Jake Davis also participated in the Ronnie Fieg x Sebago Nexus Project, designing several Sebago shoes for the collaborative collection. The filmmaker of course presents his part of the project with a few videos.

“Renowned filmmaker and style icon Jake Davis adds designer to his ever growing popularity, as he was recruited by Ronnie Fieg for the Sebago Nexus Project. Davis has designed two pair of Sebago shoes inspired by his life in upstate Woodstock and downtown Manhattan that are featured in his latest installment of Test Shots modeled by the lovely Rachel Ballinger.

Shot on a rooftop in Jake’s neighborhood of Soho, New York City, Davis beautifully captures youth, heritage, city, and country all in one. In the first video simply called Camo Boat Shoe, Rachel is draped in an American flag wearing nothing but the Original Camouflage Docksides. In the second video she wraps herself in a vintage Pendleton blanket, again wearing nothing except Jake’s Luggage Chukka. Both shot in Jake’s signature super slow motion style. The videos and shoes are nothing short of epic. Look for both shoes to be released later this week with more details and product shots to follow…”

visvim presents the new Riffelberg-Folk boot from their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The boot comes in several colorways, featuring suede uppers and leather linings. Furthermore the piping was matched with the lining and the upper comes with contrasting triple stitching. Unfortunately the boot will only release at F.I.L. stores.

Earlier this month you’ve seen the first look at ALDO’s Fall/Winter 2010 ad campaign featuring Jessica Stam, here’s the full campaign including the men’s featuring Matt Gordon. The campaign was shot by Terry Richardson once again, and this season it’s “all about letting go and letting yourself feel the music.” Cute pics, there’s also a video of Stam and Gordon dancing on ALDO’s site! Some of the shoes are already released online, so check them out.

I’m usually wearing all black everything but during the summer I try to wear more colors, plus black absorbs too much heat. But for Jay-Z’s concert at Radio City Music Hall on August 12th, I decided to wear “all black everything,” and I’m sure you all know why haha. And it just so happens my new Senso ‘Dainton’ ankle bootie arrived at the office, rocked them immediately! Love the zigzag sole and it went perfectly with my outfit, hotness. You may notice I’m wearing makeup, it’s because I did a photo shoot earlier. Kinda liked the makeup so kept it on the whole day haha…

Jimmy Choo and UGG announced their collaboration early January and I’ve been waiting to see how the mash-up would turn out. Thanks to my friend (who follows a lot of celebs on Twitter, she will stay anonymous) that spotted Nicky Hilton’s tweet of the new Jimmy Choo x UGG, we now have the first look. I’m not really a big fan of UGGs but I have a lot of friends that are, and they are one of the reasons why many stores are kept open so you can’t deny the power or UGGs. How do you guys feel about the first look? Do you like? Would you buy?

Per my first post, the two footwear labels will launch a five-piece collection in October based on the construction of Ugg’s sheepskin boots “with design details that embody the spirit of the Jimmy Choo brand,” the two companies said in a statement. Prices will range from $595 to $795 and the collection will be carried at select Jimmy Choo and Ugg Australia stores and the two labels’ online stores, as well as at certain department and specialty stores that carry Jimmy Choo.

Thom Browne designed a great alternative to the usually very ugly Moon Boots that you see all over the ski resorts. A bit of black leather and plaid does the job and you have the perfect pair of boots that will for sure keep your feet warm in low temperatures. Problem is of course that you can probably not wear them for another 4 months. The new Moncler Gamme Bleu boots are now available from colette.

This kind of boot is exactly what makes Yuketen stand out from the crowd. Next to so many other heritage shoe makers that have come back strong in recent years, they still manage to stand out of the crowd, due to quality and also special design. Today we come across their new Hunt Boots Red Brown Quilt, mixing a brown leather upper with red and brown wool and of course the thick crepe outer sole. The boots are now available from Tres Bien.

From Adam Kimmel’s new Fall/Winter 2010 Collection comes the Site Boot. Styled like a classic work boot, it comes in a navy suede and black leather colorway, as well as with a black Vibram outer sole. The boot is now available from Aloha Rag.

Dr. Martens tweaked their Stussy Deluxe “The Hambleton” style into a smooth canvas mainline release for Spring 2011. The shoe forsakes the moccasin toe of the Stussy style in favor of a clean round front, but still features the bound apron, two eye lacing system, woven loop and EVA wedge sole. Available in four colors for spring – navy, black, white and grey.
