Fall is looking pretty good for Forever 21’s Love 21 collection, love the sporty chic and casual looks. Sweatpants and maxi skirts worn with a simple white tee paired with some platforms is what I’m diggin’, simple and fresh.

I’m going to keep most of my posts short since I’m out in Vegas, need to head out to check out Magic/Project. Check out Forever 21’s Heritage1981 Fall 2010 lookbook featuring cute looks for fall that won’t break the bank. I hardly shop from the Heritage1981 collection but I may need to pickup some pieces from there this fall. There are cute knits, plaid shirts, denim skirts, floral dresses, blazers, knee high socks, beanies, bowties and suspenders. Take your pick and get ready for fall!

Reader Madeline hit me up and told me that Forever 21 released their own version of the super popular Miu Miu platform mary jane pumps in black/white polka dot, solid black and black with white daisy print. These are really cute and they’re only $25.80, super cheap. There’s no need to hesitate, too bad they’re sold out in size 6 or I would of copped them. Might need to stop by the store and check out the black with white daisy print pair too. Have you seen these in stores? Would you buy?

Last month I reported that Forever 21 will be releasing their first designer collaboration with LA-based fashion designer Brian Lichtenberg, now People StyleWatch has the first look at the T-shirt collection. The collection features T-shirts for men and women, so don’t say collabs are only for women (although I must agree most of the time it is). According to People, the two women’s tees show are “projected to be two of the collection’s best-selling women’s pieces, the ‘BL’ lipstick T-shirt and nail polish spilled Lichtenberg’.” Can’t wait to see the full range, the collection is slated to release on August 13th!

Forever 21 just launched a super cute I Love Nerds lookbook for their new Twist collection, just in time for back-to-school. The collection is super cute, full of letterman-style jackets, printed cardigans, quirky-printed tanks and sweaters, totes and umbrellas. Shop on!

A reader sent in this tip–a Forever 21 T-shirt that says a bunch of nonsense in the exact same font and design as this Marc by Marc tote. We thought this was such a strange thing to copy.

The tote bag is not even part of the main Marc by Marc collection, but a $28 “special item” available only at Marc by Marc stores alongside condoms and key chains. The tongue-in-cheek label hilariously reads “Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs.” The Forever 21 Tee says something about “heritage” and “California” and blah blah blah.

Such an unnecessary rip-off, in our opinion. What’s your take?

I was wondering when Forever 21 will jump on the bandwagon and launch designer collaborations, the day has come and their first designer is with LA-based fashion designer Brian Lichtenberg. If you don’t know who he is, you’ll probably remember seeing Lady Gaga’s caution tape ensemble from the “Telephone” video, yup he designed it. I’ve been a fan for awhile and own a pair of his Brianel Graffiti Leggings, can’t wait till it drops on August 13th! Mark your calendars!
